Ryan christopher hersh
scholarship applicant information

Overview

The Ryan Christopher Hersh Memorial Scholarship provides funding for youth to attend a summer camp that builds their skills or interests that they would otherwise be unable to afford. The scholarship is offered in memory of an active Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference participant who passed away at the age of 18, Ryan Christopher Hersh.

The choice of summer camp is completely up to the applicant. We have compiled a list of summer camp ideas (PDF) to share just some of the many options in the Sacramento/El Dorado County regions.

Scholarship Information

  • Depending on the number of applications received and available funding, scholarships may be full or partial.

  • Transportation costs are not included in scholarship funding.

  • Scholarship recipients are eligible to receive a scholarship more than once, as long as the end of camp survey was completed.

Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

How to receive and complete an application

Once the applicant has received the application from the referring agency, it should be completed by the student applicant with help from an adult as needed.
